Fall is an exciting time at Mountain Home Berry Farm. We offer a variety of fun things to do, as well as fresh fall produce. Visit our Home Page for a full listing of crop offerings and activities on the farm during the fall and throughout the year.

Our Fall Festival begins the last weekend in September and runs through the first weekend in November. We offer a real farm experience with a real hayride, a real cornmaze, a real pumpkin patch, and a real outdoor family fun time. No admission fee or parking fee.

Hours of operation: We are open to the public on weekends:
            Friday afternoons from 12:00 p.m.  to 5:00 p.m.
            Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pumpkin patch is open during regular weekend hours. The only charge is the cost of the pumpkin(s) you pick.
Playtime on the haystack is free.
Hayride tours last 45 min. to 1 hour. The cost is $5.00 per individual (pumpkins are extra).  
The trip consists of a long hayride around the farm with stops at our petting zoo & Mulch Mountain, our kids cornmaze (approximately 1.5 acres in size), and our pumpkin patch. Rides leave every 30 minutes or so. While you're waiting for the next ride, the kids can play on the haystack or you can browse in our country store or take a walk on our Springhouse trail. 
Country Store features homemade jams, jellies & butters, apple cider (sold out for the season), local honey, salsas, spices, sauces, scented candles, concrete lawn ornaments, seasonal produce, frozen berries and more!

School field trips, church groups, scouts, birthday parties etc. We invite you to schedule a group tour with us by reserving a space on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. Our weekday tours include: a long hayride, time at our petting zoo & Mulch Mountain, a trip through the conrmaze, a small pumpkin or gourd from the field trip pumpkin patch, play time on the haystack, and a guided walking tour to our historic Springhouse in the woods. We can accommodate groups up to 100 persons per time slot. The cost is $5.00 per individual. For groups less than 12 individuals, there is a $60 minimum fee.

            We offer 4 time slots daily              
Time slots are as follows: (groups should plan to spend 1.5 - 2 hours on the farm)

            Wednesdays & Thursdays:               9:00 - 11:00 a.m (morning groups are welcomed to bring a sack lunch)
                                                                         12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
                                                                         2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
                                                                         4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.                                                          
            Fridays (a.m. only)                              9:00 -11:00 a.m. (morning groups are welcomed to bring a sack lunch)

 We offer pumpkins, decorative gourds, craft gourds, and squash in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Many of which are great for eating. You may pick your own items from the pumpkin patch, or choose from those in and around the Country Store.






Hayride Tour


The Hayride tour is our most popular event at Fall Festival. The trip consists of a long hayride around the farm with stops at our petting zoo & Mulch Mountain, our kids cornmaze (approximately 1.5 acres in size), and our pumpkin patch. Hayride tours last from 45 min. to an hour. Rides leave every 30 minutes or so. While you're waiting for the next ride, the kids can play on the haystack or you can browse in our country store.

Part of our Hayride tour includes a stop to visit and pet our animals. Daisy, our baby miniature donkey, is a big hit. She is so friendly and loveable. The petting zoo is only available to those on the Hayride tour.

Kids have a grand time playing on Mulch Mountain. This is the favorite stop for many youngsters.

The Kids Cornmaze is designed for youngsters to successfully navigate the maze. They love to go through several times taking a different route each time.

We are the favorite field trip for many youngsters. We have a covered pavillion filled with picnic tables for those who wish to bring a sack lunch.
